Images of Dakota National Bank, later called Dakota Bank & Trust, founded by Stern's father and later Bill Stern was president, including of old bank, new bank of early 1960s, and fire at bank on Broadway. Due to his involvement in politics he met and includes photographs of Richard M. Nixon, Harry S. Truman, Dwight D. Eisenhower, and Herbert Hoover. Other political figures include of Robert Byrd, Chiang Kai-shek, Louis Johnson, Warren G. Magnuson and Nelson Rockefeller. There is also a portrait of Cardinal Aloisius Muench.

Cardinal and diplomat Aloisius Muench was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on February 18, 1889 to German immigrant parents, Joseph and Theresa (Kraus) Muench.
